LOCAL NOON
Local Noon is the first Katonah yoga studio in Portland, Oregon. In Katonah Yoga, the body is considered the abode. The goal of breathwork is to access and explore the interior space in order to become more resilient.
We set out to create a brand that resonates with high-performing creatives within the dynamic world of commercial art. These individuals thrive in high-stress environments that constantly demand them to delve into their inner worlds, seeking innovative solutions.
Local Noon enables individuals to prioritize what truly matters. By establishing a dedicated space for meditation, stretching, and self-discovery, we create an environment that allows people to fully embrace the beauty of life. By shifting our focus from worries to introspection and personal growth, we open up room to experience joy, savor every moment, and unleash our creative potential. In other words: make room for the good stuff.
THE LOGO
The three o’s in the wordmark are each different, speaking to the idea that the path of self-actualization looks different for everyone (and might look different for one person day to day). One leans on others, one opens a portal, and one decorates the window to the soul. When stacked vertically, it creates a figure sitting in meditation.

THE TYPOGRAPHY
The typography stretches and bends to compliment photography and activate negative space. Any word with two O’s (good, noon, cool, room, etc) use the two bold O’s in the logo to tie each statement back to the brand.
